Description*
Indigenous peoples, including the natives of central Europe, used to live in a very natural, deep and appreciative connection with all inspirited things. This included plants and animals, mountains and valleys, sun and moon, thunder and lightning, air and water, gods and goddesses and much more than this. For their community they took what they needed and left what they did not need. They honored what they got and treated the gifts of mother nature with great care.
Major cultural changes caused decoupling of humans from their natural deep nature connection. Hence, we are disconnected from the very source of our being. Something is telling us inside that we are supposed to discover and renew what we lost and become one with this part of our natural selves. How should that work? Are we really able to get that back?
Jon Young found and answer and developed a program for this kind of reconnection. He depicted 13 core routines of deep nature connecting. The goal of the class is to get familiar and exercise some of these core routines. Find out what works for you and what feels good. Over time these exercises result in relation building to your surroundings and become a habit.
Our camp for the day will be in a place in the woods that lifts our soul, secured in mother natures lap. We will tune in, into the scenery and the atmosphere of the woods. From this place you will go off multiple times for a solo experience into the close surrounding.
